TRANSPORTATION

Matronit

1926 is located just next to a Matronit station, which is the public transport system in Haifa. The two express bus lines that go past the hotel run through the central bus stations, the beaches, Rambam hospital, and the northern suburbs of Haifa.

Carmelit Metro

The Carmelit underground metro connects the downtown area with the center of Carmel, running through some of the neighbourhoods of Haifa. The Carmelit stations enable easy access to the Louis Promenade, the Baha’i Gardens, the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art, the Mane Katz Museum, the Wadi Nisnas area, Masada street, the Hadar district, Haifa Museum of Art, Madatech Museum of Science, Technology and Space, and much more. The Paris Square station is also less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Railway Station

The ‘Merkaz Hashmona’ train station is only 500 meters from the 1926 hotel. It is the most convenient way to travel to Tel Aviv, Ben-Gurion airport, Akko, Beit She’an, the border crossing to Jordan, and all the other cities along the railway line.

Urban & Intercity Bus Lines

In the area surrounding 1926 Hotel, you can find bus stations with routes to all over Haifa. For intercity travelling, Haifa has two central bus stations in the South and in the North which can be easily accessed by the Matronit lines. These two central bus stations also have bus lines from which you can reach the rest of the country.
